Badminton Horse Trials 2022 has all the ingredients to be very special and we are confident that we will be in position to deliver the event we have all known and loved for so many years.

It has been a brilliant summer of sport and congratulations to all our British equestrian athletes at both the Olympics and European Championships, but in particular the eventers, whose results, including at the nations cups, have been outstanding and bode so well for the future. It will be exciting to see these established and new combinations at Badminton 2022!

It is a privilege to have Mars Equestrian as our Presenting Sponsor and we are extremely grateful to them and all our other established sponsors whose loyalty over the past couple of years will help to ensure Badminton returns as the World’s premier horse trials.

The Box Office will open online and in person on Wednesday 5th January with new customers able to book a week later on the 12th January. For 2022 all admission tickets will need to be purchased in advance – there will be no tickets available on the gate. We will once again be offering a discount on tickets purchased in advance and will be emailing you the link to the online ticketing kiosk between Christmas and New Year. The BBC will broadcast their usual Sunday 2 hour highlights programme culminating with live coverage of the top ten show jumping to see who will be crowned the 2022 Badminton winner. All live coverage of the dressage and cross country will be produced by the same team that deliver our BBC coverage ensuring top quality viewing worldwide on Badminton TV (via the event website as in previous years) and available for purchase via the Badminton TV page of the website from the 6th January for a discounted annual fee of £14.99; if purchased from 1st April onwards the cost will be £19.99.

Badminton Horse Trials are pleased to announce that the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) will be our nominated Charity for 2022. RDA is a nationwide community of 25,000 disabled children, young people and adults who take part in activities at 500 groups all over the UK resulting in improved physical and mental wellbeing.

Sustainability remains a key focus and we will be increasing the number of drinking water points and encourage you to please bring your own refillable water bottles. Other additions include Badminton food concessions only selling canned drinks in order to greatly reduce the amount of single use plastic bottle waste generated from the event.
